The Tale of Peter Rabbit

"If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales." - Albert Einstein.

The bedtime stories here come from a number of sources, although most notably from 'Books for the Bairns' which were little, very cheaply printed Victorian-era pocket books sold at newsstands for one penny each. As many of the original texts are now over a century old, some small occasional changes may have been made to make the stories more accessible, sensitive, and relevant to modern audiences. There are some beautiful tales here, and our hope is that you and your loved ones will find them a pleasant way to end your day.
